There are three flagpoles set on the West side of the Southern Ute Veterans Memorial Park, just East of the World War II monument. The largest one in the center holds the American flag and stands 30 feet tall. On the North side stands the Southern Ute tribal flag at 25 feet tall, and on the South side is the POW/MIA flag, also 25 feet tall. These flags fly 24 hours a day, all year long, and are lit at night. A Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund donation made these flagpoles possible.
